We have supported a huge water project in The Gambia, helped many charities and community groups across Herefordshire, visited local businesses, enjoyed gin tasting, spent time at Luctonians and had plenty of laughs along the way.
Our fundraising included the Bartestree Beer & Cider Festival, which raised over £8,500, Tupsley Fireworks and the Brightwells Golf Day.
But more than anything, this year has been about friendship, fun and making a real difference.
After a fantastic year, Andy Banks now hands over the baton to Christine Henderson, and we are looking forward to everything the next year will bring.
Hereford Elgar is a very different sort of Rotary Club. There is no praying, no regalia and no huge formality — just a friendly group of people who enjoy getting together, supporting good causes and having fun.
