1. Eligibility:
- The Club 100 Draw is open to members of the Hereford Elgar Rotary Club or eligible participants who are 18 years of age or older.
2. Registration:
- Hereford Elgar Club 100 Draw is registered as a Small Society Lottery with Herefordshire Council – License Number SLOT1396
3. Ticket Sales:
- Tickets are available for sale to our club members or their friends and family.
- The maximum ticket price should be £5.
- Tickets may not be sold to anyone under the age of 18.
4. Ticket Limits:
- The maximum number of tickets sold per draw will not exceed 100.
- Each participant is eligible to purchase a maximum of 10 tickets per draw.
5. Draws:
- Hereford Elgar Rotary Club will ensure that all draws are conducted fairly and transparently.
- We will record the draw results and keep them for a minimum of three months.
- Winners will be contacted promptly and awarded their prizes.
6. Prizes:
- The total prize value in a single draw should not exceed £1000.
- The prizes for each draw will be specified in advance, and ensure they are awarded accordingly.
- The maximum individual prize for each draw is £1000.
7. Reporting:
- Hereford Elgar Rotary Club will annual returns to our local authority detailing the financial aspects of the lottery, including ticket sales, expenses, and profits.
8. Expenses:
- The expenses related to running the lottery should be reasonable and will not exceed 5% of the total lottery proceeds.
9. Records:
- Hereford Elgar Rotary Club will keep accurate financial records, including all ticket sales, expenses, and prize payouts. These records will be kept for a minimum of three years.
10. Publicity:
- Hereford Elgar Rotary Club 100 Draw will be promoted responsibly and will avoid excessive or misleading advertising.
11. Responsible Gambling:
- Hereford Elgar Rotary Club will provide information on responsible gambling on all promotional materials.
- Hereford Elgar Rotary encourages players to gamble responsibly and seek help if they believe they may have a gambling problem.
12. Compliance:
- Hereford Elgar Rotary is familiar with the Gambling Act 2005, the Small Society Lotteries Regulations 2007 and the regulations pertaining to lotteries in the UK.
